Thanks to different movies, particularly Disney films, a lot of people have a set view of what princesses are and how they live their lives. But we must not forget that they're also human like us.

Check out these real-life princesses and how they live their lives!

Charlotte Casiraghi has stunning looks and no wonder because she is the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, a Hollywood star. A graduate of Sorbonne, the princess who is fourth in line to the throne is not one to stay cooped up in the royal palace. She once worked in Above, a London magazine of some renown. She's even a competitive equestrian. She has a son from a previous relationship and married filmmaker Dimitri Rassam in 2019.

2 - Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg

Prior to 2011, she was not part of the line of succession. However, a rules change made her fifth in line to the throne. She also takes her royal duties seriously and regularly participates in royal events.

Despite her young age, Infanta Leonor is the heir presumptive to the Spanish throne. The Princess of Asturias was born on October 31, 2005 via caesarian section. She is the daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain. Despite her royal destiny, Infanta attends school just like any girl her age although she does attend official royal functions along with her parents.

Lady Amelia may not get as much media mileage as Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, but this younger third cousin to Prince Harry and Prince William is making a name for herself in her own way.

This twenty-something beauty is the younger daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St. Andrews. But she's not one to sit on her royal heritage. She's studying hard to be a journalist although her true passion lies in fashion. When she graced the cover of Tatler, she became the first person of royal blood to do so. She also served as an intern in Maison de Chanel. Despite all this, Lady Windsor still frequently shows up for official royal events.

5 - Princess Pauline of Monaco

Technically speaking, the Austrian monarchy has been abolished. However, the nobility was allowed to keep their titles. But Gabriella Maria Pilar Yolande Joséphine Charlotte can still be considered a bonafide princess if only by virtue of her heritage.

She's the youngest child of Archduke Carl Christian and Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria. Her great-grandfather is none other than Charles I, the last emperor of Austria.

8 - Princess Iman of Jordan

Queen Rania of Jordan has made a name for herself as a champion of public health, education, and promoting women's rights in the Middle East and the rest of the world. She has also become known as a fashion icon.

One person who is quickly following in Queen Rania's footsteps, at least in the fashion department is her eldest daughter Princess Iman bint Abdullah. Mother and daughter are often seen together in charity events and it's not far-fetched to think that she may someday adopt her mother's altruistic initiatives.

9 - Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark

Just like in Austria, the monarchy was abolished in Greece but the descendants of the last king was allowed to keep their titles.

Despite being a Greek princess, Princess Maria-Olympia, and her family live in the UK. She's also very active in social media with over 100,000 Instagram subscribers. Interestingly enough, she doesn't know how to speak Greek although she said she's interested in learning the language.

10 - Princess Mako of Japan

Princess Mako of Akishino, the eldest granddaughter of Emperor Akihito, has a very Disney-like story after it was announced in 2017 that she would be marrying a commoner. Doing so would strip her of her royal title but the fact that she's willing to do so makes it fairytale-like.

Princesses are people, too. They have certain likes and dislikes just like the rest of us. This is important because putting someone too up high on a pedestal can sometimes get to peoples' heads.
