Boston Rob is no stranger to Survivor. His fans have followed him for over a decade now, marvelling at his ability to ebb and flow to the new layers of the game.
His moves have been revered by players of every season, whether it be his fainting in the jungle in Heroes vs. Villains out of exhaustive proof that he is pulling his weight, building fires on day one to therefore build morale, his left and right blindsides of key players and getting Lex, a fellow player, to keep another contestant (Amber his wife) afloat in the game when she wasn’t even in his alliance.

How did he do it?
Fans can’t help but ask the Boston Rob the same question now, in the new season of Survivor: Winners at War.
So far, the season has two episodes and both show Boston Rob straight up killing it. Amber joined this season with him, but was placed on a separate tribe. Both have a target on their back as known close alliances always, as goes Survivor rule, get broken up. Amber fell victim to this rule, being voted out from her tribe in the very first episode.

Not Boston Rob. He immediately began strategizing on the island with his tribe, taking control of an alliance with Parvati, getting information out of Ben on who wants to vote him out: Danni, and confronting her on all levels until she gives in to the truth In the same episode, Boston Rob leads the immunity challenge, throwing absolutely every single member of his tribe over the large revolving tube in the middle of the ocean.
Second episode rolls around and fans watch time and time again how Boston Rob takes clear leadership of his tribe.
Let’s recap:
Danni, who was part of the old-school alliance with Boston Rob, Parvati and Ethan worries they’ll vote her out and spills the secret of the alliance to the new-schoolers, much to the dismay of Boston Rob.
Rob hears that Danni wants to vote out his closest ally, Parvati, and he takes immediate control of the situation, directing the votes to go on Danni.
Although his wife was voted out on the other tribe, he makes sure there’s not even a murmur of his name for tribal council. Instead, Ben and Danni became the two names thrown around.

And then comes the real moment of truth where Boston Rob reminds everyone that this truly isn’t Kanas anymore.
As the paranoia hits on who has the immunity idol, Rob tells everyone to dump the contents of their bags out so whoever has the idol will be exposed— a never-before-seen move in Survivor History. And the best part? Everyone— every single tribe member— listened.
The Rob Father strikes again, showing that he just may be the reason this season is the most exciting yet— who knows what next move he has up his sleeve!
