Meghan Markle has always been one of Hollywood’s most stylish actresses even before her relationship began with Prince Harry. Since becoming the Duchess of Sussex, however, Meghan has become the royal fashion icon, and her fashion sense has even drawn comparisons to that of Prince Harry’s mother Princess Diana.

In 2019, Meghan Markle was ranked as the most influential celebrity dresser by Lyst.com and their yearly ‘Year in Fashion’ report. This is why we have put together a list of Meghan’s very best royal outfits.

The first time the world got to meet the new royal baby, his mother Meghan wore a Grace Wales Bonner white, trenchcoat-style belted dress with Manolo Blahnik pumps and her husband, Prince Harry wore a gray suit. While some fashion critics might have said this look was understated, we think that Meghan dressed down to shift the focus onto her beautiful baby, and rightly so!

Although we’ve seen Meghan wear this outfit before, her Veronica Beard dress never looks tired. Meghan was last seen wearing this on her and Prince Harry’s visit to the District 6 Museum and Homecoming Centre in Cape Town, South Africa. This time, Meghan paired the dress with a pair of espadrilles, and her husband, Prince Harry wore a dapper pastel green suit.

Meghan wore this beautiful outfit while visiting Edinburgh in 2018. Her outfit featured a very fitting tartan coat by Burberry which features a double-faced fabric design. Meghan isn’t the only royal to wear tartan while in Scotland, as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton also wore an Alexander McQueen tartan dress on her last royal visit to Dundee with husband Prince William.

Throughout Meghan’s pregnancy, we saw her bringing out heels on quite a few occasions, and we’re sure that you all commend her for her consistency. We sure do! On this occasion, Meghan wore some black Manolo Blahnik pumps with a 70s-inspired black-and-white printed dress by Reiss. This was all finished off with a lovely blazer by a Meghan-trusted designer, Alexander McQueen.

With this laid back outfit, Meghan showed us that she has adjusted well to the British casual style by wearing another of Alexander McQueen’s designs: a black ankle-length pantsuit. She wore this with some of her signature pointed stilettos at the Endeavor Fund Awards’ Ceremony in 2018.

At the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge Reception, Meghan chose to wear a Brandon Maxwell bright yellow midi-dress, which is a little bit of an unusual choice for her. Despite this, Meghan’s choice was a perfect one, and her pairing of nude pumps made this an inspired look.

In a nod to her Suits days, Meghan chose a dark green blouse by & Other Stories and a matching leather pencil skirt by Hugo Boss. This was topped off in true Suits style with a cream Giorgio Armani coat. We saw this outfit while Meghan was visiting with Prince Harry in Sussex.
