Met Gala 2021 happened a couple of nights ago, but we still can’t get over some celebrities. While some adorned the night with their perfect outfits, some became the foundation of new memes on the internet. Like every year, stars of all ethnicity garnered to celebrate art and fashion. To raise funds, A-list celebs get into the finest hand-made attires to steal the show.

So, exactly who got all the ‘damns’? And who all disappointed the fans?

Here are our picks of Met Gala’s Best and Worst Dressed

Best Dressed

  • Billie Eilish

The multiple Grammy winner, Billie Eilish, brought all the eyes to her as she crafted the venue with her Barbie looks. She wore an Oscar de la Renta attire to give us all Audrey Hepburn vibes. Plus, her hair did complete justice to the dress.

  • Yara Shahidi

The Grown-ish actor embodied goddess energy with her glamorous Dior gown. With minimum accessories, she stole the show with her compelling beauty.

  • Gigi Hadid

The eldest Hadid sister always made sure to look the chicest with her new red locks and white Prada dress. The model styled her hair in a high-top ponytail, and the stand-out accessory was her black leather gloves.

  • Timothee Chalamet

The Dune actor confirmed that sneakers and converse go with everything. Timothee Chalamet arrived at the Met Gala in a Haider Ackerman, Rick Own, and Converse outfit. He wore a neat and crisp white suit with a black lapel and iconic white converse as footwear.

  • Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women. But the actress looked extra while arriving at the fundraiser in a Saint Laurent dress. Her starry gown made the actress look staggering.

  • CL

The South Korean rapper and musician looked exceptionally good in her hanbok-style denim overcoat curated by Alexander Wang. She, along with Blackpink’s Rose, became the first Kpop female artist to attend the Met. Hence, not only her dress but her attendance became iconic.

Worst Dressed

  • Dan Levy

The Schitt’s Creek lead came to the party with a blue Loewe outfit. And although his outfit wanted to convey a message, it horribly failed to appeal to the eyes. The baggy sleeves and the earthy pattern was a complete no-no. But, we still appreciate the pure cray homage he paid to the queer activist David Wojnarowicz.

  • Kristen Stewart

The Twilight queen failed to impress people with her mismatched pink pantsuit, designed by Chanel. Stewart, who is famous for her bold and gorgeous looks, was unable to steal the attention. Her attempt to channel barbie with the pink outfit was too simple to be at the met Gala.

  • Kim Kardashian

The Internet fame and Kardashian queen attended the event in all-black attire. And, when we say, all black-we mean it! Kim made sure nobody could get a glimpse of her face at the event. However, it turned out to be her worst decision. The internet personality became a topic of jokes as people are having a hard time understanding her approach. Is she a batman or Peter Pan’s shadow?

  • Jeniffer Lopez

It will be a crime to mock JLo’s fashion sense. But, sadly, she made us do that with her cowboy attire from Ralph Lauren at the 2021 Met event. The jewelry she chose did not elevate her neck. Plus, her other accessory- the hat- was not-so-subtle to match the brown gown.

  • Whoopi Goldberg

The American actress, who we all love and respect, did not stand up to the mark in the purple puffed-up Valentino gown. In addition to this, the choice of using green gloves was more destructing.
