Fans of Chadwick Boseman are still grieving from the death news of Black Panther. The American actor passed on to the great beyond at his place in Los Angeles, California. It happened on Friday at the age of 43 after battling cancer for four years.
Boseman shot to the highest of everyone’s radars when he played the role of T'Challa within the 2018 Marvel hit 'Black Panther' which became the first superhero comic film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. The film went on to win three Oscars.

One of his teachers and mentors, actress Phylicia Rashad, helped raise funds for Boseman and a few of his classmates to attend a summer course at land American Drama Academy in London.
One of the folks that contributed to funding the scholars was Denzel Washington. After Boseman was cast within the role of T’Challa in 'Black Panther', Washington joked, “Wakanda Forever, but where’s my money?”

Chadwick was a theater enthusiast right from the beginning. His debut play was ‘Crossroads’ which he both wrote and performed in. He completed his graduation from Howard University and he did it in directing! At the age of 23, he acted in ‘Zooman and the Sign’, a play written by Charles Fuller who is a Pulitzer-winning writer.
We might know Chadwick from his iconic role as Black Panther, but he started serious acting in 2008 and was cast in shows like Law & Order, ER, Castle, etc. He was a student of British American Drama Academy based in London and New York's Digital Film Academy, all before he took acting as a career choice.

Boseman played small roles on TV shows like ER and CSI: big apple before getting recurring roles on Lincoln Heights and Persons Unknown. His big breakthrough came from playing athlete Robinson, the primary African American to play in conference Baseball, within the 2013 film 42.
He later played soul legend James Brown on Get On Up in 2014 and civil rights lawyer Thurgood Marshall within the 2017 film Marshall. Boseman once commented that he wouldn’t be as good for the Black Panther role if he had not played these three historical roles.

advocated for the character of T’Challa to talk in an African language and
accent so on present the character as a real African king. He is reported to be
spending plenty of your time performing on this and ensuring audiences would
accept it.
In the time period of shooting scenes of Captain America: Civil War with South African legend John Kani he would learn his lines in Xhosa on the set. His support for the language solidified the utilization of isiXhosa as the official language of Wakanda, the fictional state in Black Panther.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige met Boseman in ‘Get On Up’, he had no
doubts that Chadwick was the proper man for the King T’Challa role. For his
role in Black Panther, Boseman went on to officially become the first-ever
African-American superhero to star in his own standalone pic within the Marvel
Cinematic Universe.
Grossing over $1.3 billion globally, the award-winning movie was also the very first film Adapted from a comic book to be nominated for the Oscar Best Picture award. “I think it had been 24 hours between saying his name during a creative story meeting and reproval his agent and more matured a phone with him and offering him the role of activist, which he accepted,” Kevin said.

Boseman was diagnosed with Stage III carcinoma in 2016. He never discussed his diagnosis publicly and carried on filming Black Panther, 21 Bridges and Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame while undergoing treatment. Director Ryan Coogler was quoted as saying the actor “shielded his collaborators from his suffering”.
